The goal of this consultation is to ensure there’s a great match between your student’s needs and my expertise, leaving you confident about the next steps.

Once you decide to move forward, I’ll work with you and your student to set personalized learning goals. Whether it’s catching up on missed concepts, preparing for a big test, or building confidence for the next math class, these goals will guide every session. My commitment to collaboration means I’ll tailor the plan to fit your student’s unique learning style and needs. By setting clear, achievable objectives, your student can focus on measurable progress and avoid feeling overwhelmed.
Start learning
The learning process officially kicks off with sessions designed just for your student. I firmly believe in teaching understanding over memorization. I’ll break down complex math concepts into simple, digestible steps, ensuring students grasp not just how to solve a problem, but why a method works. Using active learning techniques like asking questions and encouraging students to explain concepts back to me, I keep sessions interactive and impactful. Each lesson is carefully structured to build understanding, confidence, and skills. In my opinion most students feel comfortable meeting twice a week for one-hour sessions. My students meet with me on Mondays and Wednesdays, or Tuesdays and Thursdays, and always at a set time that we are both committed to.
